Lori Barber holds a 200 RYT certification from Yoga Alliance. She teaches in the Kundalini style of yoga with her own spin. Her 80-minute classes are both physical and meditative and consist of warm-ups, meditation, breath work and then a vigorous set that works the entire body. All levels are welcome, as modifications are made to suit every body type and conditioning. Students will work their core in all of Lori's classes, as she believe that every physical movement should originate from the core and a strong center equates to a strong mind. When not teaching yoga, Lori is the Director of General Education at the College of Eastern Idaho. She has been teaching yoga and perfecting her style for four years. Lori is dedicated to helping students reach their full potential by connecting physical movement to the mind and spirit.

Adult Ballet Barre Bodysculpt Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00-10:00 am

Ballet Barre Bodysculpt will combine elements of ballet, Pilates, and yoga to sculpt beautiful, lean dancer muscles. Barre fitness uses strength training exercises that are low impact and utilize isometric movements set to energizing music that will trim, tighten, and tone.  We will focus on improving balance, posture, flexibility and increasing core strength. This total body workout is for all ages and body types and does not require any prior dance experience. Ballet Barre Bodysculpt will be taught by Rachel Barton.

Rachel Barton has always had a love for dance, performance arts, and fitness.  After graduating from Harvard University with a degree in Psychology and living in cities across the U.S., she found her passion in dance fitness.  In 2012, she became a certified Jazzercise instructor and began teaching group fitness cardio and strength classes regularly.  While living in Colorado she discovered barre fitness and loved how the classes further increased her endurance, strength, and flexibility. Shortly after discovering barre, she became Barre Forte certified.  Rachel recently moved to Idaho Falls and lives here with her husband and four young children.  She enjoys dance, fitness, singing, musical theater, art, and reading.
